The Fighting Lady{ is a 1944 documentary film presented as a "news drama". The film is directed by Edward Steichen, produced by the U.S. Navy, and narrated by Lt. Robert Taylor USNR. The film revolves around the life of seamen aboard an anonymous aircraft carrier. Because of wartime restrictions, the name of the aircraft carrier was not divulged, rather the carrier is known as "the Fighting Lady". The story is true, the battles are real, and a bonus section has been added which includes outtakes and supplements.
