While the show, Three's Company, was in post-production, Suzanne Somers was a last-minute replacement for Crissy, who was going to be played by Susan Lanier, and John Ritter was not considered to be a good choice as Jack. Susan Lanier was replaced, but John was not. and the rest is history. RIP, Suzanne Somers, and John Ritter. This episode is the first episode and therefore, the first appearance on the show for Suzanne and John, as well as Joyce DeWitt, Norman Fell, and Audrey Lindley.
