While the show, Three's Company, was in post-production, Suzanne Somers was a last-minute replacement for Crissy, who was going to be played by Susan Lanier, and John Ritter was not considered to be a good choice as Jack. Susan Lanier was replaced, but John was not. and the rest is history.
