Moonlighting is a detective show with a sense of humor. Maddie Hayes is played by Cybill Shepherd. Bruce Willis played David Addison Jr. The series ran from 1985 to 1989, with a total of 67 episodes. Moonlighting was a detective show, but it also combined comedy, drama, and romance. In fact, it was the first show to successfully and influentially create a comedy-drama show. In 2007, the Moonlighting TV series was ranked as one of Time magazine's "100 Best TV Shows of All-Time" The relationship between David and Maddie was also put in TV Guide's list of the best TV couples of all time.
