This episode is from the early days of Candid Camera with Allen Funt. The show originated on the radio as Candid Microphone in 1947. Candid Camera began on Television in 1948, it aired on CBS in 48 and 49. This episode was aired on NBC but it still has the name Candid Microphone along with Candid Candid Camera, so it is probably 1950. It originally ran from 1948 to 1974,.
It has returned as special and new versions until 2014. In one of the Candid Camera situations, Allen is in charge of refunds in a big department store and gives a poor woman a hard time.
