Blackout is an American game show that was broadcast from January 4, 1988, until April 1, 1988. Bob Goen hosted the show. Since it has such a short run, episodes are rare.
Two teams, each team consisting of a contestant and a celebrity, fought to solve a word puzzle. One of the players was usually a returning champion and sat at a yellow desk with his/her partner, while the challenger's team played from a red desk.
The word puzzles consisted of a sentence or short paragraph with four blank spaces, a typical puzzle;e example: "The _____ wasn't _____, he just had a _____ in his _____." with the words "sick," "code," "spy," and "nose," the solution would be: "The spy wasn't sick, he just had a code in his nose."
The video is a video playback, the sound is fine, video is OK.
