Bosko is a delightful animated cartoon character. He was created by animators Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising. Bosko was the first recurring character in Leon Schlesinger's cartoon series and was the star of thirty-nine Looney Tunes shorts released by Warner Bros.
Bosko would appear in a total of 46 cartoons during the golden age of animation with the final appearance in the cartoon My Green Fedora in 1935. He was the first major break out star of Looney Tunes.
Bosko became the star vehicle for the studio's new Looney Tunes cartoon series. Bosko wore long pants and a derby hat, and he had a girlfriend named Honey and a dog named Bruno.
